On January 21, 2021, Leonard Wade “Peanut” Trusler Jr. passed away at his home at the age of 59.
Peanut was born on March 26, 1961, to Leonard and Juanita Trusler. Growing up he was an avid ballplayer. Once he graduated, he worked at Ingalls Shipyard for a while and then began Construction work with his father. On October 29, 1983, he married the love of his life, Lisa Maria Martin-Trusler. Together they raised two daughters. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Peanut also had a passion for drawing and caring for his plants around the house.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Trusler; his parents, Leonard and Juanita Trusler; and granddaughter, Addisyn Crimm.
Peanut is survived by his two daughters, Leticia (Andy) Moseley and Laura (Scott) Crimm; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Jayde, Brooklyn, AJ, Karlie, Joleigh, and Brisyn; sister, Debbie (Ray) Parrish; a special aunt, Pam Trusler; and numerous of other relatives and friends.
