Mary L Batiste

Ms. Mary Batiste was born November 3, 1951, in Pineville, Louisiana, to the late Ephrim Batiste and Lucilla Sutton.  She passed away to eternal life on January 2, 2021.  She was a long time resident of Jackson County, MS.  Mary spent most of her time with family and friends, after years of employment at Gulf City Fisheries in Pascagoula, MS.

Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents, Ephrim Batiste and Lucilla Sutton, of Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories to:  two sons, Robert (Derise) Batiste of Gautier, MS, and Kevin Batiste of Bunkie, LA; two sisters, Maybella (Samuel) Bowie and Dorelle Boyd, both of Bunkie, LA; three brothers, Pervise Batiste of Bunkie, LA, Freddie (Eunice) Batiste of Houston, TX, and Ephrim Batiste, Jr., of Bunkie, LA; five grandchildren, Erica Hoops of Woolmarket, MS, Robert and Cortez Batiste of Gatier, MS, Kevin Batiste, Jr., and Bre Chapman of Wiggins, MS; one great-grandchild, Adalynn Hoops of Woolmarket, MS; two devoted friends, Joe Lofton of Pascagoula, MS, and the late Virginia Batiste of Pascagoula, MS; along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
