Mary F (Carter) O'Brien

Mary Carter O’Brien left this earthly realm on Saturday, 19 December 2020.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Doris Wilson Carter and Havens Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mike O’Brien; two children, Katie Wise of Vancleave, MS and James Andrew Philmon (Kim) of Port Charlotte, FL; five grandchildren, Dameon, Wyatt,  and Lane Wise, Shamus Philmon, and Rylee Golding; four siblings, Clifton Carter, Kaye (Gerald) Carter, Becky (Bobby) Hooker, and Teresa Busby, as well as a plethora of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to express gratitude, appreciation, and sincere thanks for all acts of kindness and love shown during their time of bereavement. Your visits, cards, phone calls, flowers, prayers, and other acts of kindness will brighten the days ahead.

Special Request

We respectfully require anyone attending to wear a mask and to stand six feet apart.  No repast or gatherings will be held due to COVID-19.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Hospice of Light, 1121 Ocean Springs Rd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564 in memory of Mary Carter O'Brien.
