Mary Elizabeth Thomas

Mary Elizabeth Thomas, age 62, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose strength touched everyone who knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lois Wilson and Robert Wilson; her sisters, Brenda Wilson, Cathy Blakeney, Becky Rushing, and Sherry Kinchen; and her brother, Robert Wilson Jr. (“Bubba”).

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughter, Alisha Wilson; her cherished grandchildren, Aisha Perry and Leighton Bond; and her great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, James Wilson, along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.

Mary will be remembered for her spunky spirit, her resilience, and the love she gave to her family. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date. The family asks that she be remembered for the love she shared and the lives she touched.
