Melvin Watson

     Mr. Melvin Watson was born on April 22, 1943, to Henrietta and J.D. Watson, Sr. On December 8, 2023, he passed away at the age of 80. Melvin was a loving person, always willing to help others. He loved to dress up, dance, and was known as the life of the party. Spending time with family and friends brought him great joy.

     Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Henrietta and J.D. Watson Sr.; his brothers, Eddie, J.D., Willie, and Gene Watson; and his sisters, Lela Morris and Yvonne Watson.

     He is survived by his daughter, Germelle Watson; sister, Ida Coleman; devoted niece, Moma Lue; devoted nephew, T Buddy; and devoted friend, Cora Gabison; he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
