Michael Lynn Caneup

Mr. Michael L. “Mike” Caneup, age 21, was born December 6, 1998, at USA Hospital in Mobile, AL, and was a lifetime resident of Jackson County, MS for the last 21 years.  Michael went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2020. 

Mike would always turn a bad moment into a good moment by being silly.  He loved being on the water fishing.  Mike was loved by his grandparents, sisters, brother, mom, and dad; especially, his fiancée and three kids.  They were his everything.  Mike was a person that would go out of his way to help anyone.

Mike is survived by his fiancee, Angela Ingram of 3 years; his daughter, Jade; two sons, Jaden and Braxton; five brothers, Austin Goff, Eddy Caneup, Tyler Goff, Chris Sanders, and Chris Glaskox; three sisters, Erica Walker, Sha Goff, and Kursten Turan; brothers-in-law, Denon Long, Kevin Couch, and Andrew Turan; niece, Lyrik; nephews, Achilles (Lil Mike Mike) Karson, Jourdan, Lucas, and Austin, Jr.; sister-in-law, Brittany; two aunts, Torrie Laton and Amber Walker; five uncles, Marty Laton, Kevin Laton, Eddie Walker, Phill Walker, and Mitchelle Miller; cousins, Starla Laton, Dallas Laton, Kaylee Walker; maternal and paternal grandparents, Donna and Marty Laton, Edwin and Gennie Walker, H.L. Goff, and Beverly Wilder; maternal/paternal great-grandparents, Dorothy Hester, Albert Hester, Georgia Avis Walker; cousin, Justin Hester; special friend, Trevor Sanders.  Along with other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
