Milford Barnes, a resident of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, just one day after celebrating his 77th birthday. Born on January 9, 1949, in North Carolina, he was the beloved son of Thomas Barnes and Catherine Ruth Anderson. Though he called Moss Point home, Milford carried the hardworking spirit of his North Carolina roots with him throughout his life.
A man of great skill and artistic vision, Milford dedicated his career to the world of automotive restoration. As a specialized painter, he possessed a unique talent for breathing new life into classic vehicles. His precision and passion for his craft were evident in every project he touched, earning him the respect of his peers and the gratitude of those who appreciated the beauty of a perfectly restored machine.
Milford was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Catherine. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and craftsmanship, along with many family members and friends who will love and miss him dearly. He will be remembered not only for the cars he transformed but for the quiet strength and steady presence he offered to those around him.
