Mitzy Michelle Barr

Mitzy Tillman Barr passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Mitzy, a resident of Ocean Springs, was born on August 14, 1969 in Pascagoula, MS to
Poncho and Dolly Tillman. She graduated from Pascagoula High School class of 1988.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Charles (Poncho)Tillman; mother, Dolly
Alaine Perkins; step-father, John “J” McMahan; step-mother, Sheila Tillman and step-
brother, John Everett.
Mitzy is survived by her; two daughters, Brooke Walker and Tori Walker; step-father,
Johnnie “Doug” Perkins; brothers, Paul (Jana) Tillman and Chad (Sylvia)Tillman; step-
sisters, Leigh Ann Scott and Melanie McArthur; beloved, nieces, nephews and friends:
and her fur baby, Bailey.
A visitation celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Turning Point
United Pentecostal Church in Gautier from 2-4 visiting, sharing and remembering. The
church is located at 4404 Gautier- Vancleave Rd, Gautier, MS 39553
