Monalisa Rose Simon, 26, of Pascagoula, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 5:58 PM at USA University Health Hospital in Mobile, AL, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing
has left an unfillable gap in our hearts.
Monalisa was a remarkable woman known for her selflessness, unwavering support, and boundless love. Her ability to sacrifice and provide for her loved ones was unmatched, and her spirit touched everyone she met. Monalisa had a natural charisma and infectious personality that made friends wherever she went. She was a woman of true integrity, dedicated to giving her children the best life possible.
Monalisa is survived by her parents, Pete Simon Sr. and Monica Olguin; and her siblings, Laura Ladnier, Lynsie Hill, Pete Simon Jr., Isaac Simon, and Thomas Opel; her fiancé, Randy Hogan; and her beloved sons, Lorenzo, Leonel, and LaMelo. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends across the Gulf Coast States.
Monalisa will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished. She is now in God’s arms, praising Him
for eternity and awaiting a joyful reunion in Heaven.
A celebration of Monalisa’s life will be held at Guardian Angels Funeral Home on August 10th at 10 am. Monalisa’s favorite flowers are sunflowers and roses.
