Nancy Victoria Hand (Hudson), 74, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Sunday, February 1,
2026. Nancy was born on August 24, 1951, to the late Albert Henry Hudson and Bula Elizabeth
Hudson in Moss Point, Mississippi.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John David Hand; and her parents.

Nancy is survived her daughter, DeAnna J. (Jeff) Cook, son, John David Hand, Jr., son,
Raymond “Rocky” A. (April) Hand, and daughter, Christina E. Hand; grandchildren, Tyler Hand,
Amber Raines, Shawn Hand, Austin Wade, Lauren Hand Villarreal, Hunter Delmas, and Daniel
Hand; sister, Carolyn Bowen and brother, Victor Hudson; great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews, special family, Mark Wade, Wendy Pittman Hough (daughter-in-law), and Katherine
Durham; and lifelong friend, Debbie Merkle.

Nancy retired from Singing River Health System where she worked as a registered nurse. She
loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A conversation with her
always included lighthearted jokes and stories about her animals. In her downtime she was an
avid reader. Simply put, she was generous, kindhearted, down-to-earth, honest, and hard-
working.
