Our beloved Nannetta Lanee Gray, affectionately known as Sunny by her family and friends, entered into eternal life on March 24, 2025. At an early age Sunny was baptized at the Pentecostal Church of God. She is no longer suffering from illness or pain, and her soul has been set free. Sunny was born on August 25, 1979, to Dorothy and Nathan Gray Sr. of Moss Point, Mississippi.
Sunny was well-known for her vibrant and outgoing personality, marked by her bubbly attitude. Her love was unconditional and boundless. She was a phenomenal daughter, sister, and an amazing aunt who cherished her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Daisy Mae and David Lee Childs; paternal grandparents, Clara and Robert Gray; and brother, Marlo Gray.
She is survived by her parents Dorothy and Nathan Gray Sr., both of Moss Point, MS; her siblings; Doris Childs-Hill of Moss Point, MS, Debra Childs-Tate of Gautier, MS; Kendrick (Angela) Gray of Jackson, MS, Donna (George) McMillan of Ellisville, MS; Nathan (Alicia) Gray Jr., of Moss Point, MS, and Jason (Lakeisha) Gray of Ocean Springs, MS. Sunny will be dearly missed and was loved by so many.
