Nita Marie (Poole) Pittman-Holloman

Nita Marie Poole Holloman Pittman, age 63, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away in January 2026, Born on May 14, 1962.

 Nita was a woman whose life was defined by her immense heart, her quiet resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

​Nita was a mother whose journey was marked by both great love and profound loss. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Poole and Glenda Marie Poole; her brothers, Melvin and Richard Poole; and her two beloved sons, Jeffrey and Justin Holloman, whom she carried in her heart and thoughts every single day.

​She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, including her husband, Kelvin Pittman; her son, Jonathan Poole; and her daughter, Jessica Holloman. Nita’s greatest joy was found in her seven grandchildren: Hunter Holloman, Cheyenne Holloman, Gabriel Hester, Jailynn Holloman, Kaily Sloane, Josiah Keys, and Jazlynn Keys. She is also survived by her brother, Virgil Poole, and her sister, Sharon McTigue, along with many friends and extended family members.

​Those who knew Nita remember her as a woman who endured life's many challenges with a rare and beautiful strength. Though she faced seasons of hardship, she remained a pillar of love for those around her. Her presence, her kindness, and the memories she leaves behind will remain a guiding light for her children and grandchildren. Nita will be remembered for the life she lived, the obstacles she overcame, and the deep love she gave to everyone she held dear. She will be profoundly missed.
