Olen “Bobby” Merrill

10-6-1954 – 11-19-2025

Bobby was born to Robert and Natalie Merrill on 10-6-1954 in Rochester, NY. He went to be with Jesus on 11-19-2025.

Bobby was a simple man with many hobbies, two of which were shooting pool and fishing. He was also known for his skills in mechanic work and carpentry. One of his proudest accomplishments was being asked to complete the detail work on one of the St. Jude giveaway homes. He was a man of few words and would give anything he owned to someone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Merrill. He is survived by three sisters: Ida Stewart, Donna Byrd, and Kim Franklin, as well as one brother, Allen Merrill.

Memorial services will be held at North Gautier Baptist Church, 2405 Callie Rd, Gautier, MS, on Dec 6th, 2025 at 2 PM.
