Princess Wess

Princess Shavon Wess was born on August 6, 1981, to Kimberly Wilbanks in Pascagoula, MS. She attended Gautier High School, graduating in the year 2000. After high school, she enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where she earned her nursing degree. Throughout her life, Princess dedicated herself to helping others, whether through her nursing career or simply as a lovable individual. From an early age, she believed in God and was saved. She was a member of the Power of Deliverance Church in Gautier.

Princess was a humble, loving, and caring young woman. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, eating snowball ice, and working as a nurse.

Princess departed life June 9, 2025. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Victoria (Eddie) Williams and James (Gloria Jean) Wess, and a very special step-grandmother, Glenda Wilbanks.  

She leaves to cherish her memories, her two daughters, Tatyana Thompson and Khloe Beavers; one grandchild, Kayleigh Thompson; her parents, Charlie and Kimberly Wilbanks; three brothers, Darrell (Carol) Wess, Cassanova (Kimberly) Wess, and Jylun Wilbanks; four nephews, Darrell “DJ” Wess, Santonio Wess, Cassanova Wess Jr., and Corban Wess; and two nieces, Ma’Kailah Wess and Kaislynn Wilbanks all of Gautier, MS; along with a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
