Roderick Darnell Hannah, age 57, of Moss Point, Mississippi, peacefully passed away on October 20, 2025.
Roderick was born on November 15, 1967, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to his loving parents, the late Sam and Georgia Hannah. He was a proud 1985 graduate of Moss Point High School.
Roderick was known for his quiet and mild-mannered spirit. He had a lifelong love for cars, music, and playing dominoes. Early in life, he worked as a skilled welder, a craft he enjoyed until his health began to decline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Georgia Hannah; his paternal grandparents, Dave and Carrie Hannah; his maternal grandparents, Carl and Catherine DuBose; and four siblings: Willie Mae Wells, Patricia Hannah, Trudy Smith, and Wilma Hannah.
Roderick leaves to cherish his loving memory three children: Roderick, Latoya, and Jamie Mitchell, all of Moss Point, Mississippi; two sisters, Karen (Robert) Jones of Moss Point, and Beverly (Bradford) Thompson of Pascagoula; and two brothers, Samuel Hannah and Willie Ray (Nedra) Washington, both of Moss Point. He also held a very special place in his heart for his beloved grandson, Jaxten Brown. Roderick will be fondly remembered by his two lifelong best friends, Eric Chestang and Tim Warner, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Roderick will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him. The family of Roderick Darnell Hannah wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, love, and support during this time of loss. Your kindness and compassion are deeply appreciated.
