Rickey Jordan

Rickey Vernard Jordan, Sr. was born August 22, 1963, to the late Pringle Jordan, Sr. and Zeola Jordan. He transitioned this life to be with Christ peacefully on August 20,2024, at Singing River Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Moss Point, MS and graduated from Moss Point High School C/O 1981. He was a long-term employee for the City of Moss Point Public Works Department with Clear Water Solutions. Rickey had a passion for piano and gospel music. His devotion and willingness to please God was evident by him serving as a Musician for multiple churches in the community. He united with St. Peter Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS at an early age and later joined Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church where he remained.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pringle (Zeola) Jordan, Sr. and siblings, Lottie Hye, Purvis Jordan, and Jerome Jordan.

Rickey leaves to cherish his memories; two loving and devoted children, Rickey (Ashley) Jordan, Jr. and Renika Jordan both of Pascagoula, MS; brothers, Pringle (Rebecca) Jordan, Johnny Jordan, and Bobby (Angela) Dukes;  sister, Phyllis Jordan Curry of Moss Point, MS; five grandchildren, Jasilyn Taylor, Rickey Jordan, III, Justice Mclin, Nova Jordan, and Raelynn Jordan; and a special cousin, Juanita Hutchins. His presence will be greatly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and friends
