Mr. Robbie (Minna) Shelton was born on July 8, 1968 to the late Charles and Frances Shelton. He departed from life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 55.
Robbie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with his children, family, and friends. He was known for his infectious smile, gratitude, and eagerness to help others as well as the love he had for his favorite Football Team; The Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Shelton Jr.; mother, Frances Shelton; daughter, Whitney U. Shelton; sister, Deorise Shelton; grandfather, Charles C. Shelton Sr. and James Glaude; grandmother, Catherine Shelton and Victoria Glaude; great-grandfather, Rev. Howard and Margaritte Shelton; uncles, Ernest Glaude, Cleveland Glaude, Ruben Glaude, Arthur Glaude, Carter Glaude, Phillip Williams, Howard D. Shelton, and Bobby Shelton; aunt, Florence Miles and Sheryl Cannon.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his devoted children four sons, Ronald (Mekela) Martin, Keith (Delisha) Poindexter, Deangelo Shelton, and Kenyata Brandon; five daughters, Alexis (David) Tait, Xamondria Wells, Shantyana Simmons, Kayla Shelton, and Asia Wonsley; three brothers; Charles (Melanie) Shelton, Ronnie (Winnie) Shelton, and Peter (April) Shelton; four sisters, Elaine (Dwight) Williams, Tasha Thompson, Sherita (Fletcher) Gray, and Lataira Gildersleeve; twenty-three grandchildren, fifteen grandsons and eight granddaughters; devoted uncle, Ricky Cannon; nephew, Amonte Martin; cousins, Robert Shelton, Suan Shelton, and Reginald Holmes; special friends; Josette Kelly, Tammy Taylor, Jatima Johnson, Leslie Richardson, Aaron Duffy, and Tremaine Walton; along with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends
