Rube Henry Webb, Sr., 51, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away on November 29, 2025.
Born in Pascagoula to Jerome Webb, Sr. and Annie Bell Johnson, Rube, affectionately known as “Roc” built a life filled with charisma, resilience, deep faith, and a heart for people.
Rube was an extremely intelligent man and a lifelong learner. He earned his GED from Northwest Community College, followed by Associate Degrees in HVAC and Pipefitting. Ever determined to grow, he obtained several certifications before discovering his true passion in welding. He was employed as a full-time welder at Alfab Inc. in Enterprise, Alabama, where he worked faithfully until his passing.
He loved every minute he could spend with his wife and daughter, enjoying time with his family, having a healthy debate (where he was ALWAYS right), playing Scrabble, designing pieces for his clothing line, working out, and even writing his autobiography.
Known for his devout faith and knowledge of the Word of God, Rube did his best to do good and walk in purpose, even in the face of personal challenges. His testimony stood as a meaningful example for anyone walking through the same struggle and he used his experiences to minister with compassion, humility, and wisdom. He offered realistic and effective counsel. His ability to meet people where they were at was one of his greatest gifts.
Rube was preceded in death by his three precious children, Jenesis, Londyn Sky, and Ocean Rain Webb; his baby brother, Billy Ray Webb; grandparents, R.H. and Dorothy Mae Hoye; grandmother, Loraine Fortson; uncle, R.H."Billy Ray" Hoye, Jr; aunt, Agnes Boswell; fatherly influence, Mack Washington; stepfather, Johnnie Johnson; and brother-in-love, Joel Thornton.
He is survived by his devoted wife of ten years, Jamie Webb; his children, Rube Henry Webb, Jr., Emmanuel Webb, Javon Webb, and Gianna Webb, “Daddy’s Little Princess”; two bonus children, Jaidin and Mason Young as well as his beloved "dog"-ter, CoCo; his mother, Annie Bell Johnson; father, Jerome Webb, Sr.; sisters, Consuela (Richard) Cowan and Jalessa Webb; brothers, Jerome (Litisha) Webb, Jr., Thomas (Perla) Webb, Sr, and Justin Webb; devoted uncle, R.C. Hoye; uncle, Reginald Webb; aunts, Doretha (James) Goodman and Dora Hoye; devoted cousin, Jackie Ray Hoye; mother-in-love, Linda Thornton; sisters-in-love, Tarkilya Webb and Traci (Raymond) Webb; brother-in-love, Ronald “Buddy” Thornton; and the mother of his sons; Allison Webb.
Rube leaves behind a host of beloved nieces and nephews, Damali Raye, Kanani, Amilian, Hadiya, Jayden, Brianna, Kristen, T.J., Ruby, Isaias, Stephen, and Callie all of whom adored him.
He will be remembered for his steadfast faith, unshakeable love for his family, and in his own words, knowing a little bit about a whole lot.
A life that touches others' lives on forever.
