On April 25, 2024, Sallie Ann Rowell Loup born January 31, 1960, went to her heavenly home after extended illness. Sallie was born in Lakeland Florida, and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she spent her childhood. She married Paul Loup, IV worked and traveled around the United States. They settled in Hurley Mississippi, where they established their home. Sallie had a lifelong love for animals and had been caring for them since she was 14 years old. She also volunteered for wildlife rescue services in Mississippi. In recent years, she provided pet care in her home. Apart from her passion for animals, Sallie enjoyed gardening and was very generous to her family, neighbors, and friends
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and William Rowell; her brother, Michael Rowell; and her sister-in-law, Renae Atchison Rowell.
Sallie is survived by her husband, Paul Loup IV; sister, Lisa Towles (Paul); three nephews, Matthew Towles (Savannah), Jacob Towles, and Christopher Rowell; and a host of other family and friends who love her dearly.
