Samantha Kennedy Obituary

Samantha Kennedy was born on October 4, 1988, and transitioned to her heavenly home on February 28, 2021. Samantha was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the firstborn daughter of Lisa Vannatter and William Kennedy. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many. Samantha indeed had a personality that could make anyone gravitate to her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kristen Rayne Waterbury; maternal grandparents, George and Carol Vannatter; paternal grandparents, James and Agnes Kennedy; and uncle, Sherman Kennedy.

She is survived by her father, William Kennedy; mother and stepdad, Lisa Vannatter Rupe Short and Michael Short; dad, Ronald "Steve" Rupe; her two sons, Nathan Waterbury and Isaiah Castronovo; brother, Steven Rupe; sisters, Tiana Rupe Carmen (Christopher) and Jennifer Hale; nephew, Braga Berry; aunt, Melissa Williams; cousin, Brandon Williams (Lexi Williams); and a host of other relatives and friends that miss her dearly.
