Obituary

Samuel Joseph Cole was born on April 10, 1976, and left this world on June 18, 2023. He was a loud and rambunctious soul. He was a singer, poet, chef, son, friend, a brother, and to the joy of his soul, he was a father. In his years, he made many mistakes, yet all were taken in stride as a lesson learned. He created traditions within his family that morphed into a kaleidoscope of memories, painting a man whose very existence shaped the lives of so many. He was preceded in death by his father Stephen, and his brothers-in-law Robert Walley and David Matta. He is survived by his mother, the kind and gentle Sharon, his children Isis, Tiffany, Damion, Bishop, and their spouses, many grandchildren, his siblings Sherry, April, Jacqie, Stacy, Misty, Adam, Stephen JR, and their spouses, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His life was one of struggle, strength, and perseverance. He himself showed, without a shadow of a doubt, that though humanity is flawed, it is kind, generous, and above all, family.
