Shadrack Trinity Ethridge passed away on February 1, 2026. He was a man of remarkable character who was deeply loved by those who knew him, possessing a great personality that drew people in and left a lasting impression on his community. He was known for his kindness and the special bonds he formed with his family and a close circle of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Ethridge; grandfather, Gordon Ross; and aunt, Sheri Ross
Shadrack is survived by his daughter, Alexia Ethridge. He was the beloved son of Janice and David Turner and the cherished grandson of maternal grandparent Ruth Ross. His legacy continues through his brother, Andy Ethridge of Texarkana, Texas, and his six sisters: Holly Smith and Shannan Ethridge of Moss Point, Christina Johnson of Pascagoula, Sasha Turner and Pasha Davis of Lucedale, and Melody Ethridge of Texas.
He was a devoted uncle to his nieces, Felicity Pope, Aubrey Roberts, Chloe Johnson, Cali Fairly, and Bailey Fairly. He also leaves behind his nephews, Ryder Ethridge, Todd Simmons, Mason Cramer, Jaydan Davis, Konner Davis, and C.J. Johnson. Shadrack will be deeply missed by his special friends, Joey Pitts, Lane Simmons, and Billy Wilkins, as well as his loyal dog and life partner, Freya.
