Shannon Smith

Mr. Shannon Dewayne Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County for the past 41  years. Shannon went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2022, “in paradise on Caswell Lake.”

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Amanda Smith; father; Marland Smith, and Granddaddy.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Mandy Smith; daughter, Teagyn Smith; two sons, Jordyn and Bryson Smith; mother, Lylene Smith; three brothers, Brandon, Mathew, and Blake Smith; brothers-in-law, RonJon, Richie, and Tony; sisters-in-law, Robyn, Jenny, Sandy, Aundrea, and Kristie; and special friends, Tim Kibby, the Bar Family, “The Jerry Davis Crew”, Buck, Hawk, Beck, Kenny, Curt, Mama Rocky, Lisa, and so many others;  along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives that will miss him dearly.
