Shannon Thornton

Mr. Shannon Thornton, a native of Chunchula, Alabama, and a resident of Pascagoula, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Shannon transitioned from this earthly world while at home in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was a man of many talents who had a deep love for those who surrounded him. His passion for music and fixing bikes are just a few reminders of what he loved to do.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Gable, maternal grandparents, Lawrence Clark and Janice Robinson, and paternal grandparents, John Gable and Georgia Mae Gable.

Shannon is survived by his loving family: son, Tony Edwards; mother, Katrina (Charles) Watson; brothers, Joshua (Candace Ray) Thornton and Anton Thornton; sister, Sarina Thornton; nephews, Anton Thornton, Aarion Thornton, and Jordan Thornton; a special friend, Jazmine Marshall; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
