Sharon Grayson

Sharon Annette Grayson, 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, at her family home in Moss Point, Mississippi. 

Sharon was born to Rev. John Aubrey and Sybil Spain on June 6th, 1959. Growing up as a Pastor's child, Sharon traveled a lot in her childhood and called many places home. Most notably the stories she shared about her childhood living in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Illinois come to mind. 

Sharon had a knack for decorating, crafting, and gardening, and a deep admiration for all of God's creation. 

Sharon was a kind, loving, diligent, and gentle mother to her three children; Chad Alan West,  Jennifer Elise Grayson (Allday) and Aaron Mark Grayson, as well as a beloved and honored Mother-in-Law to Jennifer C. Grayson and Michael Brent Allday, and a respected "mother figure" to many others. 

Children were her calling for most of her life, and the love, attention, and genuine care she poured into them will not be easily forgotten. 

Sharon was preceded in death by both of her parents, her sister, Charlotte Spain Burbage, her beloved husband of 21 years, Gary Mark Grayson, and her eldest son, Chad. 

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her lovingly devoted husband of 14 years, Kelly Jon Grayson, her brother, Donald Spain, her son and daughter, their spouses, her granddaughter, Adelaide Emily Allday, and a host of nieces, nephews, and others who's lives she impacted in innumerable ways. 

Sharon's deep faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her tender heart towards all people are just two of the legacies she leaves behind.

She was a shelter of love and the embodiment of warmth in this world, and her absence will be felt by all those who knew her.
