Mrs. Shirley Davison answered her call home and gained her wings on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Shirley was born to Chester and Mamie Williams on June 3, 1956, in the little town of Starkville, MS.
Shirley met and married her one and only love, Isaac Davison, on Nov. 27, 1972. They were married for 53 wonderful years. The joy of her life was her family. She was a wonderful and dedicated homemaker. She was a homemaker to seven of her own children and three adopted grandchildren. Shirley gave her life to Christ not long after getting married. She lived a life of complete commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a joy to know she is now she is singing and dancing away in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her two grandsons, Xavier Damond Davison and Ja'Vontavous Emmanuel Davison; four sisters, Dorothy Edwards, Gale Williams, Linda Ann Williams, and Mamie Ree Blalock; and a brother, Danny William.
Mrs. Shirley Davison leaves the following to cherish her memories to her devoted husband, Isaac Davison; her six daughters, Faith Davison, Hope (Keith)Sims, Charity Davison, Tabbitha (Jimmy) Harrison, Rebecca (Terry) Litz, and Naomi (Travis) Olive; her son, Little Ike Davison; adopted children, Phylisha Rashell Davison and Israel Thomas Davison; fifteen grandchildren, Dontario, Ky'mani, Joshua, Selena, Arna Marie, April, Quincy, My' Asia, Heaven, Terrell, Makayla and Mekell, Isaac, Kingston, and Skylar; three beautiful great-grands, Hendrix, Ka'Turah-j, and our newest member Melena Ariel Olive; two brothers, Juan and Carlos Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews, sister-in-law and bother-in-laws and other relatives and friends.
Shirley will be greatly missed; she was a wonderful mother and devoted wife.
