Todd Leon Stone - 57 years old, of Pascagoula, MS, entered eternal life Sunday afternoon, June 16, 2024, in Mobile, AL surrounded by his loving family. Todd was born on January 5, 1967, in Pascagoula, where he was a lifelong resident. Todd attended Pascagoula High School, where he discovered a passion for sports. He would later share this love by coaching his children. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1985. He retired from The City of Pascagoula Fire Department on December 18, 2014, after 25 years of service. Todd and his brother, Tim, also worked alongside their father, Stoney, in his landscaping business for 20 years. They put in long hours but cherished the time they spent together. Todd had several hobbies including golfing, hunting, playing chess, fishing, and reading. His greatest pleasure was being with his family, watching ballgames, being outdoors, and just being together with others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon Stone and Etta Bennington; and ex-wife, Twyla Renee’ Adcock Stone.
Todd leaves to cherish his memories of three loving children, William Drake Stone (Erica), Erika Alise Thompson (Eric), and Alexa Kaye Stacey (Dennis), all of Pascagoula; Brother, Timothy (Diane) Stone of Gautier, MS; Nephew, Logan Stone of Gautier, MS; Sister, Lisa (Larry) Godwin of Fair Oaks, CA; and grandchildren Laelon Thompson, Kaelyn Stone, Axle Stacey, Ella Stone, and Elliot Stacey.
A celebration of Todd’s life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Viewing will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, at Guardian Angels Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am. The interment will conclude at Griffin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
