We are gathered here to honor the vibrant life of Tremaine Montile Denson Cobb, a woman whose laughter was as loud as her heart was large. Born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1980 to W. James and Yvonne Denson, Tremaine brought a spark to this world that never dimmed, from her early days in Pascagoula to her final days in Lake Charles. Tremaine was a woman of incredible drive. After graduation, she moved to Georgia to hone her skills, eventually becoming a respected hospital administrator. Tremaine was awarded the honor of 2026 Employee of the year presiding over Memorial Hermann and Houston Methodist in Houston, TX. Her work ethic was unmatched—she was the kind of person who didn't just do the job; she often worked two, driven by a desire to provide and excel.
But beyond her professional success, Tremaine lived for her family. Her greatest joy was found in the quiet and the exciting moments spent with her husband, Warren. Whether they were standing on a beachfront at the crack of dawn or spending an entire day on a chartered boat, she loved nothing more than watching him fish. For Tremaine and Warren, love was a language spoken through quality time and the thoughtful exchange of gifts.
She was a woman of style and substance. She loved fashion, always presenting her best self to the world. And then, there was that laugh. If you were looking for sympathy after a clumsy trip or a silly fall, you wouldn't find it from Tremaine—you’d find a loud, infectious laugh that would "hurt your feelings" in the best way possible. She taught us all not to take life, or ourselves, too seriously.
Tremaine leaves behind a legacy of hard work, deep love, and a reminder to find the humor in every stumble. As we say goodbye, we carry her laughter in our hearts and the memory of her bright spirit in our minds.
She is preceded in death by her father, W. James Denson; her maternal grandparents, Quincy and Edna Marshall; her paternal grandparents, James and Carrie Denson; her aunts, Shirley Trotter and Linda Graham; her uncles, Tyrone Marshall and Michael Williams; and cousins, Sharon Trotter and Sataisha Tubbs.
She was beloved by her mother, Yvonne, and stepfather Darrius Williams. She leaves behind her husband, Warren Cobb; son, Darries Harry; sister, Tramara Denson (Johnny Salter); and brother, Darrius Williams. She is also survived by her aunts, Elaine Creer, Tonya (Robert) Jones, Cynthnia King, Patricia (Wilbert) Hudson, Jeanette Harris, Lubertha Williams, Sharon Marshall, and Bonnie Jean Williams; her uncles, Clifton Williams, Bill Ray Williams, Johnny Creer, and Eddie Denson; niece, Hassini; nephews, Hassan Denson, Damien Day Jr., TyJuan Day;grandmother, Winnifred Perkins; great-nephew, Nalo Joyner; and many loving first removed cousins, friends, and coworkers.
