VIRGINIA WINGATE

Mrs. Virginia Lee Wingate was a native of Fort Belvoir Virginia. She resided in Gautier Mississippi for the last six years. She went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2024. She was surrounded by Lisa Koontz (Daughter) Manley Todd West (daughter's partner), Mary Robertson (God Daughter), and Krysta Thompson. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse, George Albert Wingate of 47 years, Her mother Irene M. Goodwin, her father Wendle C. Goodwin, her brother Patrick Goodwin, and her sister Kathlene Taylor.  

She was survived by her daughter Lisa Marie Koontz of Gautier, Mississippi, Her two grandchildren James Martin Wingate and Hannah Marie Davis, two Great- Granddaughters Sadie Elaine Davis and Ella Rose Davis, Brother Dale M. Goodwin, sister Colleen F. Wingate, God -Daughter Mary Robertson, God granddaughter Krysta Thompson, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and favorite caregiver Kariste Fields.
