Vanessa Dale Thomas

Ms. Vanessa Dale (Nanny) Thomas, age 60, a native and resident of Pascagoula, MS, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2020, at a local hospital.  Vanessa was a comedian, funny, and fun to be around.  She could always draw others around her and would tell you like it is.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her parents, Annie B Thomas and Roy Thomas; sister, Mary Pitts; and nephew, Phillippe Pitts.

Vanessa is survived by her loving daughter, Mela Thomas; three grandchildren, Devin Thomas, Amia Thomas, and Akerya Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Kenryk Thomas and Amir Thomas; a special friend, Carolyn Burts; and a devoted cousin, Ronald Duck, along with many other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
