Villy Jean Heath

Villy Jean Heath, age 74, died at home on Thursday, June 3 in Ocean Springs, MS. Born on October 7th 1947 to the late Teresa Picard Domingues and Villey Paul Domingues. 

Jean grew up on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and graduated with honors from St. Martin High School in 1965. She lived briefly in California with her husband William Thomas Heath until they moved to Rocky Mount, NC in 1974 where they lived for 40 years. Jean helped Bill run his contracting company. They raised two children and loved fishing together. After Bill’s death in 2015, she moved to Ocean Springs MS to live with her son and his family. 

Jean loved reading, sewing, cooking, her pets, and above all, spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Jean Heath of Atlanta, GA and son Jonathan Thomas Heath of Ocean Springs, MS. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Sarah Ann Heath of Ocean Springs, Tyler Thomas Heath of Ocean Springs and Sebastian Zitong Lamb of Atlanta.
