WIlliam Chivers Obituary

Mr. William George Chivers, a native of Pennsylvania and resident of Gautier, MS for the past 48 years,
passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Ocean Springs Hospital, in Ocean Springs, MS. He was
retired from Litton Data Systems, and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Alice B. Machinski Chivers; his mother, Martha W. Chivers;
father, Marshall R. Chivers; sister, Linda L. Santos; and a daughter, Robin Lee Larsen.

He is survived by: his wife of 50 years, Amelia Joyce Chivers; his daughter, Bobette M. “Bobbie” Rigby;
his brothers, Darwin Chivers, Richard Chivers (Beverly), and Robert Chivers (Carolyn); his granddaughter,
Amelia J. “Amy” Larsen, and grandson, William J. “Billy” Larsen; his great-grandson, Liam Hendrix
Dowjat; and many beloved nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
