William Osterholt

William Pardee Osterholt was born January 6, 1932 and passed away on October 25, 2023. He was born in Hollywood, California and grew up in Santa Monica, California. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joanne Simmons Hughes Osterholt, daughter Bonnie Ann Osterholt, and stepdaughters Elizabeth Hughes Ripps and Jennifer Hughes Beilman, as well as two incredible sons-in-law. He is also survived by seven awesome grandchildren.

Bill graduated in engineering from Tulane University and years of post-graduate studies led to Naval Architecture and an assignment with the Department of the Navy in Washington D.C. His position put him into Foreign Military Sales, his team taking care of patrol boats for small countries in Africa and Central America. He loved his work and the opportunity to help improve situations for the less fortunate, which earned him a number of awards.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for any donations to go to the Israeli support effort through support.adl.org or to the St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs; which is a part of numerous programs to help people in need
